Aidan J Cottrell
Aidan is a mascot and voice actor out of the Dallas Metroplex. He has a degree as a BA theatre major from Texas Christian University with a minor in Arts, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship. He was a member of two TCU acapella groups; The Horned Tones and License to Trill as a bass/vocal percussionist.
Aidan also specializes in social media coordination and mascot coaching. Aidan is a current mascot for the Harlem Globetrotters, representing the brand as 2022 Mascot Hall of Fame Inductee Globie and the inflatable character Big G. As Globie, he has performed in such venues as Madison Square Garden, the Barclay Center, as well as being the mascot for the Globetrotter's first televised performance since the 1980's.
He has also represented the Dallas Wings WNBA team as Lightning, the Dallas Jackals Major League Rugby team as Jax and the Texas Rattlers Professional Bull Riders as Fang.
In college, Aidan spent 4 years as both portraying and managing the social media for SuperFrog, the mascot for TCU. As SuperFrog, he has done a wide range of work including crowd interaction, social media, commercials, and been the ambassador for the university in places like Los Angeles, New York City, and Kansas City. Aidan is also an instructor for mascots, both at the high school and college level, as a mascot staff member for the Universal Cheerleader's Association, where he was awarded "Mascot Staff of the Year" in 2023.
Aidan also has credits in voice-over and radio work. He has been educated by Lydia Mackay and Jon Bailey in voice acting, has several credits in VO for local businesses, and has his voice used by the Universal Cheerleaders Association. He was a deejay at his local college station: KTCU.
